Detroit recalled Lanier from the G League’s Motor City Cruise on Monday.
Lanier recorded 23 minutes in Sunday’s 120-109 G League loss to the Memphis Hustle before being recalled, putting up seven points (3-10 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), a rebound and an assist. He will likely continue to split time between the two clubs, but will not play much with the Pistons.
