The Philadelphia 76ers have won three straight games, and they’ll look to make it a fourth when they travel to Los Angeles to play the Clippers on Monday night.

It will be the second game of the season between the two teams, as the Sixers bested the Clippers, 110-108, back on Nov. 17. Sixers star center Joel Embiid didn’t play in that game, but it will be a different story this time around.

Joel Embiid ‘probable’ to play against Clippers on Monday night

Embiid is listed as “probable” on the official injury report for the matchup with the Clippers, indicating that he will be available, barring any late setbacks.

On the season, Embiid has appeared 28 games for Philadelphia and posted averages of 26.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 blocks per performance.

But, while Embiid should be available, the Sixers will still be missing a key contributor against the Clippers. Star forward Paul George will be serving the second game of his 25-game suspension for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program. George won’t be able to return to game action until late March.

The Sixers enter the meeting with the Clippers sixth in the Eastern Conference standings at 27-21. Meanwhile, the Clippers are 9th in the West with a record of 23-25.
