Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker has been ruled out of Tuesday’s game, Feb. 3, against the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center, while Jalen Green is listed as questionable.

The Suns (30-20) weren’t scheduled to practice Feb. 2 on their travel day.

Booker missed the entire five-game homestand after suffering a right ankle sprain Jan. 23 against the Atlanta Hawks to end a six-game road trip.

“Book is making tremendous progress,” Suns coach Jordan Ott said before Sunday’s 117-93 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. “Obviously been on the court multiple times. Trending in a good spot.”

Booker was due for a re-evaluation of the sprained right ankle this past weekend.

“He just continues to progress,” said Ott when asked Sunday if Booker had a re-evaluation. “He is skipping steps basically on how fast he can do it.”

Green suffered a left hip contusion after taking a hard fall in Phoenix’s win on Jan. 30 over Cleveland after missing three games due to right hamstring injury management.

Ott said Green’s absence from Sunday’s game was due to the hip contusion.

“The hamstring seemed to be good,” Ott said Sunday. “Everything was good until that fall.”

Green scored 11 points in 16 minutes against the Cavaliers, but didn’t see action in the fourth quarter.

“It’s the soreness piece right now,” Ott said Sunday. “Tough fall. He was stiff. (Saturday), he was stiff. (Sunday), he took a big jump forward and feels a lot better.”

Green has played only five games in his first season with the Suns after playing every game in his two previous seasons with the Houston Rockets.

Seventh in the West, Phoenix has five games remaining before the NBA All-Star break with the final four on the road against Golden State, Philadelphia, Dallas and defending NBA champion Oklahoma City.

The Trail Blazers (23-27) have dropped their past five games and are 10th in the West.

Kris Murray (lumbar strain) and Matisse Thybulle (right Knee tendinopathy) are ruled out.

Blazers All-Star forward Deni Avdija (low back strain) and Scoot Henderson (left hamstring tear) are listed as doubtful, while Jrue Holiday (personal reasons) is questionable.
