Three of the losses were by double-digits, including each of the last two — a 127-97 mauling at the New York Knicks on Friday and a 130-111 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday at home. … The Cavaliers led by as many as 24 points and controlled things from the opening tip, riding a career night from center Jarrett Allen (40 points, 16 rebounds, five assists, four blocks) to an easy win. … The Blazers allowed Cleveland to shoot 55% from the field, including 47% from three-point range. … Deni Avdija, who on Sunday was named to the Western Conference All-Star team, was a late scratch because of a lingering lower back strain. He has missed six of the last 10 games. … The Blazers have committed 63 turnovers over the last three games, coughing up 20 or more in each. … The Suns are 11-6 in 2026 and have won six of their last nine overall. … But Phoenix is coming off a 117-93 home loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday, which ended a three-game winning streak. … This is a rare road game in what is a favorable, home-heavy monthlong stretch for the Suns. Portland: Deni Avdija (lower back strain) and Scoot Henderson (left hamstring tear) are doubtful; Jrue Holiday (personal reasons) is questionable; and Kris Murray (lumbar strain), Damian Lillard (left Achilles tendon) and Matisse Thybulle (right knee tendinopathy) are out.
Phoenix: Jalen Green (right hamstring injury management/left hip bruise) is questionable and Devin Booker (right ankle sprain) is out.
