The Philadelphia 76ers are trading Jared McCain to the Oklahoma City Thunder for a 2026 first-round pick and three second-round picks, league sources confirmed to The Athletic.
The 76ers will receive a 2026 first-round pick originally owned by the Houston Rockets; the second-best 2027 second-round pick between the Rockets, Pacers, Heat and Thunder; a 2028 second-round pick via the Milwaukee Bucks and a 2028 second-round pick via the Thunder, league sources said.
Trading McCain gets the 76ers under the luxury tax, which should allow them to promote two-way contract standouts Dom Barlow and Jabari Walker to standard deals.
