The Denver Nuggets will look to snap a two-game losing streak when they head to Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks on Wednesday night.

The game will be a battle between two teams right in the thick of the playoff picture in their respective conferences. The Nuggets (33-18) enter the game third in the standings in the Western Conference, while the Knicks (32-18) sit second in the East. 

Nikola Jokic will play vs. Nuggets on Wednesday night 

The good news for the Nuggets is that they will have their star center available for the contest.

Nikola Jokic isn’t listed on the official injury report for the contest, indicating that he’ll be out on the floor.

Jokic recently returned from an extended absence due to a knee injury. The game in New York will be Jokic’s fourth consecutive game played since his return to action.  

On the season, Jokic has appeared in 35 games for the Nuggets and posted averages of 29.1 points, 12.1 rebounds, 10.5 assists and 1.4 steals per performance. 

The matchup between Denver and New York will be the first of two on the season between the two teams. The Nuggets will also host the Knicks in March.
