Los Angeles Lakers forward Jaxson Hayes was suspended one game without pay by the NBA on Wednesday for pushing a Washington Wizards mascot before a game last week.
The incident occurred during pregame introductions in the Lakers‘ 142-111 triumph over the Wizards on January 30.
Hayes will serve his suspension on Thursday when the Lakers host the Philadelphia 76ers.
Hayes has averaged 6.4 points and 3.8 assists a game for the Lakers.
