If Giannis Antetokounmpo is looking to exit the Milwaukee Bucks, the Brooklyn Nets could help him land a great deal.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is reportedly looking at his options as his career with the Milwaukee Bucks has stalled.

A lot of teams have expressed interest in the former NBA champion. There are several landing spots that Giannis could consider.

One team that has been linked to a move for Antetokounmpo is the San Antonio Spurs. With a wealth of draft assets, including the second overall pick in this year’s draft, the Spurs are in a great position.

Plus, pairing Giannis with Victor Wembanyama could be a recipe for instant championship success. However, there is a major problem – the Spurs might be reluctant to part ways with a lot of assets that the Bucks might find desirable.

There is a solution – adding a third team to the trade. And it could be a side that had made landing Antetokounmpo a priority just a few months ago.

Three teams take next step in their plans

The Spurs would receive not just Giannis, but Cameron Johnson, a player whom they’ve had their eyes on for over a year.

Along with that, while they give up their second overall pick, they get the 8th pick and 26th pick in the same class, while receiving two first-round picks as compensation.

The Bucks get to begin their rebuild with two young stars and a host of draft picks, including their own pick. With two first-round picks in this class, and two from 2027, it sets them up for a strong rebuild.

While the Nets get their hands on the coveted second overall pick to land Dylan Harper, a prospect they’ve had their eye on. Along with this, they secure their 2026 first-round pick with a top-3 protection.

It’s a deal all three sides can feel comfortable knowing that they walk away better from, even if what they’re giving up might seem like a lot.
