Golden State looks to make the most of what’s left of its championship window, with 31 games remaining in the 2025-’26 regular season and a middling 27-24 mark thus far. The Warriors hit the road after losing back-to-back games to the Philadelphia 76ers (113-94) and Detroit Pistons (131-124) on their home floor, bringing their record to 2-5 over their past seven games. The acquisition of Porzingis comes at the expense of Buddy Hield (8.0 ppg) and Jonathan Kuminga (12.1 ppg), who were sent to Atlanta to make the deal happen.

The Suns made less of a splash at the deadline with the acquisition of reserve guards Cole Anthony (6.7 ppg) and Amir Coffey (2.4 ppg) from the Milwaukee Bucks, adding depth to a unit still anchored by 20-plus point scorers Devin Booker (25.4 ppg) and Dillon Brooks (20.9 ppg). Phoenix currently sits atop the Pacific Division and is seventh in the Western Conference with a 31-20 season record that includes four wins over the team’s past five games.
