New Orleans Pelicans are hard to figure out.

Two nights after blowing a lead against a below average team playing with its best player, they faced a far better team which had its best players.

Saddiq Bey sank two free throws with 10.8 seconds remaining to clinch a 119-115 win for the New Orleans Pelicans over the Timberwolves at Minnesota.

The Pelicans flipped their season-long script, rallying from an 18-point deficit to beat a good team on the road.

New Orleans outscored Minnesota 64-45 in the second half.

Bey was outstanding, finishing with 30 points.

Bey had lots of support as Zion Williamson scored 29 points, Trey Murphy III scored 26 points. Williamson was extremely efficient, going 11 of 13 from the field, getting to the basket with great success. Coming off a 44-point game where he sank 12 of 18 from 3-point range, Murphy was 6 of 10 from beyond the arc.

Derik Queen added 17 points. Not known for his perimiter game, Queen was a perfect 4 of 4 from 3-point range.

Williamson put the Pelicans ahead to stay with a 3-point play with 35.5 seconds to play in the game.

New Orleans shot 54 percent from the field and had 29 assists on 43 made shots. The Pelicans outscored Minnesota 17-9 in fast break points.

Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 35 points.
