Tillman, 27, played in 14 games for the Celtics this season. The 2024 NBA champion served in a reserve role throughout his three years with the team but had multiple memorable moments, including a game-winner vs. the Sacramento Kings and a 3-pointer in Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Tillman deal marked Boston’s fourth trade of the week. They reportedly traded Anfernee Simons to the Chicago Bulls in exchange for Nikola Vucevic on Tuesday before sending Chris Boucher to the Utah Jazz and Josh Minott to the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday.
