The Houston Rockets have been playing sublime basketball lately. With Kevin Durant leading the team in impressive form, the Rockets are well poised for a championship run. However, while most critics presumed the team was active in the trade window, the Rockets remained eerily quiet throughout the period.
Previously, Jeff Teague urged the team to try and rope in James Harden. Additionally, in a recent update, The Ringer’s Michael Pina, too, lashed out at the team for not showing urgency in the now-expired trade window.
“Despite having five tradable first-round picks and some significant areas in need of improvement…the Rockets were whisper quiet at the trade deadline,” wrote Pina.
