Jamal Murray’s All-Star weekend got a little busier Sunday.
The Nuggets’ starting point guard was one of eight players selected to participate in the 3-point contest Saturday night in Los Angeles. Murray is shooting a career-best 43.2% on 3-pointers this season and is taking 7.5 per game, the most of his career.
Chauncey Billups was the last Nuggets player to compete in the contest in 2010.
Murray will be competing against Portland’s Damian Lillard, Phoenix’s Devin Booker, Charlotte’s Kon Knueppel, Philadelphia’s Tyrese Maxey, Cleveland’s Donovan Mitchell, Milwaukee’s Bobby Portis Jr. and Miami’s Norman Powell.
