The Oklahoma City Thunder will travel on the road to face the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday. This will be the second matchup of the season between the two squads. Last time, OKC made a statement in a lopsided victory on Nov. 12.

The Thunder (40-13) have lost two in a row. A duct-tape offense wasn’t enough in a 112-106 loss to the Houston Rockets on Saturday. Chet Holmgren had 17 points and 14 rebounds. Cason Wallace scored 23 points.

Meanwhile, the Lakers (32-19) have won three in a row. They had a 105-99 win over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday. LeBron James stepped up with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The Thunder will be without their MVP candidate. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (abdominal strain) is out. Ajay Mitchell (abdominal strain) is out. Nikola Topic (testicular surgery) is out. Thomas Sorber (torn ACL) is out.

The Lakers will also be without their MVP candidate. Luka Doncic (hamstring strain) is out. Deandre Ayton (knee soreness) is probable. Adou Thiero (MCL sprain) is out.
