Mackenzie Vellis scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as Rutherford defeated Ramsey 44-32 in an away game in Ramsey.
The Bulldogs (15-7) extended their winning streak to four games and improved to 7-3 in the NJIC-Colonial Division, maintaining their third-place position behind Saddle River Day (8-2).
Rutherford jumped out to a 15-14 lead after the first quarter before Ramsey took a 21-20 advantage into halftime. The Bulldogs pulled away in the second half, outscoring Ramsey 12-4 in the third quarter and 12-7 in the fourth to secure the victory.
Cate Finan added 11 points, including one 3-pointer, while Payton Lewis contributed nine points and three steals for Rutherford. McKenzi Lewis was a defensive force with five blocks and eight rebounds while adding eight points.
Charlotte Auty led Ramsey (11-8) with 12 points, while Keira Dougherty added 10 points including one 3-pointer.
The Bulldogs dominated the glass, collecting 36 rebounds and recording 11 steals as a team.
