Bruce’s Analysis:
Admittedly, it’s been rather bleak for the Bucks, and Giannis is still sidelined, but it hardly looks as if Milwaukee is giving up on this campaign. Three straight wins have kept the Bucks within shouting distance of the East play-in filed as the All-Star break looms, and not dealing away the Greek Freak at the deadline might indicate some further ambitions with this roster. The recent signing of G Cam Thomas, a productive scorer with the Nets and potentially making his Milwaukee debut tonight, is another non-surrender sign.
Meanwhile the Magic have been money-burners since just in front of New Year’s, on a 6-13 skid vs. the spread, though top scorer Franz Wagner (ankle) is likely to return to active duty tonight. Play Bucks
