Trail Blazers at Timberwolves picks and predictionsPrediction

Trail Blazers 118, Timberwolves 114

BET TRAIL BLAZERS (+190).

The elephant in the room is whether or not Edwards plays. If he doesn’t, the Trail Blazers should be able to take advantage and pull out a win. Even if Edwards does play, he could be limited. Portland has momentum, winning their last 3 games.

BET TRAIL BLAZERS +5.5 (-110).

While I firmly believe the Trail Blazers have a golden opportunity to win this game, even if they don’t, they should still cover. The Timberwolves have failed to cover in 4 of their last 5 games; Portland has covered in 2 of its last 3.

AVOID.

My score prediction has these teams hitting the Under, but there is a large element of unpredictability. The Trail Blazers have hit the Over in each of their last 5 games but Minnesota is a very good defensive team. But with Edwards’ status in question, it’s tough to gauge what type of offensive output the Timberwolves will have.
