Former St. John’s standout Kadary Richmond was signed to a 10-day contract by the Washington Wizards, the club announced on Wednesday.

The 6-6 point guard last year played a critical role in the Red Storm’s best season in decades, averaging 12.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.3 assists as they won the Big East regular season and tournament championships and earned their first NCAA Tournament victory in 25 years.

He has been playing this season with the Capital City Go-Go, the G League affiliate of the Wizards. In 23 games (15 starts), he has averaged 8.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
