Bryan Armetta breaks down Wednesday’s 13-game featured NBA DFS slate to find three undervalued players to slot into your lineups.

The All-Star break is almost here, but there’s still plenty of real hoops action yet to tip off. Wednesday offers up a 13-game, 26-team featured NBA DFS slate. In short, almost everyone is on the board for fantasy basketball managers tonight.

With that being said, building a balanced lineup is easier said than done. For every five-digit superstar, a lesser-known name or two is needed. Given the amount of players taking the court tonight, narrowing things down to a few favorites can be difficult. Here are three values to target this evening in DFS and season-long fantasy formats.

PG Nolan Traore, Brooklyn Nets vs. IND ($4,700)

The youth movement is underway in Brooklyn, especially in the backcourt. First-round picks Egor Demin ($5,000) and Nolan Traore have been given control of the offense. For the latter, that’s led to some terrific results during the past week. Traore is averaging 16.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 8.0 assists over his last three games (34.1 FPTS). The Nets, with 15 wins, don’t have much to play for at this point. There’s no reason not to leave their rookies on the court for an extended period of time.

Brooklyn’s talented Frenchman is poised for a solid showing tonight at home. The Pacers, on the second leg of a back-to-back, aren’t the most intimidating opponent. Indiana is giving up the fourth-most fantasy points to point guards this season. Traore has logged at least 24 minutes over his last four outings. In addition, he’s shown major improvement as a shooter and playmaker. Against another rebuilding club, the guard could pay massive dividends on Wednesday.

PG/SG Devin Carter, Sacramento Kings at UTA ($4,500)

Sacramento is on track for a disastrous 2025-26 campaign. To the shock of absolutely no one, the team is sitting most of its veterans tonight. DeMar DeRozan, Russell Westbrook, Zach LaVine, Domantas Sabonis, De’Andre Hunter and Malik Monk have all been ruled out. So, who exactly does that leave for the Kings? Uh, not much. If there’s anyone that offers some level of intrigue, it’s Devin Carter. The second-year pro hasn’t gotten much burn this season. Over 19 games, he’s putting up 5.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists (12.1 FPTS).

Lackluster numbers aside, Carter isn’t a lost cause at this stage of his career. As any Providence fan can tell you, the guard does a little bit of everything on the court. He’s also been solid over the past few weeks. The 23-year-old has tallied at least 22 fantasy points in each of his last four outings. It helps that Sacramento is facing a miserable Jazz defense. Utah is allowing an NBA-worst 126.4 points per game. It’s not difficult to envision Carter thriving in this battle between bottom-feeders.

PF Simone Fontecchio, Miami Heat at NOP ($4,300)

We’ll go with a high-upside pick to round out Wednesday’s list. Throughout his four-year NBA tenure, Simone Fontecchio has been known as a sharpshooter. That hasn’t been the case this season. The wing is averaging 8.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game along with 39/36/83 shooting splits (16.9 FPTS). In spite of lackluster efficiency, the Italian remains a valued piece of Miami’s rotation. Now, Fontecchio is poised for a larger role with several Heat contributors sidelined. Tyler Herro (ribs) and Norman Powell (back) have both been ruled out.

Miami’s league-leading pace (104.05) means a greater likelihood for shootouts. In that regard, it helps that the Pelicans are an absolute mess on defense. They’ve given up the fifth-most points (120.4), fourth-most rebounds (55.8) and fourth-most assists (28.3) per game to opponents. In addition, New Orleans has surrendered the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing power forwards. Fontecchio has notched at least 20.0 fantasy points in three of his last four appearances. That’s a solid baseline for his production tonight.
