Star wing Jalen Williams exited the Thunder’s game against the Phoenix Suns in the third quarter on Wednesday and did not return. He looked frustrated and walked down the tunnel after grabbing his right hamstring.

It was Williams’ second game back after missing 10 straight games with a strain in the same hamstring.

The 24-year-old had missed only one shot in the game, going 11-for-12 with 28 points, four rebounds and five assists in an eventual 136-109 Thunder win.

Still, it’s been a difficult year for Williams, who’s averaging 17.1 points per game compared to last season’s 21.6, when he was an all-star.

Williams has also been plagued by injury, playing in only 26 of the Thunder’s 55 games due to an off-season wrist surgery and the hamstring issue.
