We aren’t necessarily looking for spots to go against turbo-charged High Point, rather it’s past experiences with double-digit road favorites in conference play after February begins. We know that’s a mouthful, but we saw again last night in the Big Ten when high-rated Michigan had all sorts of trouble at Northwestern and couldn’t cover a double-digit price. Upstate already lost by 20 at High Point but is coming off of a wild 100-94 OT win over Charleston Southern, the latest showcase for a capable Spartan offense featuring G Karmani Gregory, who scored 29 vs. the Bucs, and backcourt mate Mason Bendinger, who scored 25. After all, the Panthers have to have a flat spot in Big South play sooner or later…right? Play Upstate
