With rumors swirling around Michael Porter Jr. being on the trade block, the Brooklyn Nets travel to take on the Orlando Magic on Thursday.

The Brooklyn Nets head to Orlando to take on the Magic on the NBA Trade Deadline on Thursday night. The Nets were a part of a three-team trade with the LA Clippers, the Brooklyn Nets, and the Toronto Raptors. The move sent Chris Paul and Ochai Agbaji to the Raptors, but the veteran future Hall of Fame point guard is not expected to sign with Toronto and still could trade him. Brooklyn picked up cash to cover Agbaji’s salary as the team continues to rebuild. Brooklyn has yet to trade its biggest asset in Michael Porter Jr., who is linked to the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Detroit Pistons, to name a few. On the game front, this is the third matchup of the season for these two Eastern Conference foes, with Orlando looking to win the season series tonight and take a 3-0 lead. Orlando only won by a point in its last matchup against the Nets nearly a month ago in Brooklyn, winning 104-103 in overtime. Paolo Banchero scored a team-high 30 points, 14 rebounds, and six assists, but nothing was bigger than his three-pointer at the buzzer in overtime. Brooklyn’s Porter Jr. scored a game-high 34 points. Orlando is a double-digit favorite to stay above .500 today, with an 11.5-point line in its favor on Thursday.
