Benton High School girls basketball hires Ross Barelli as new head coach | High School Sports

(ST. JOSEPH, MO) – The Benton High School girls basketball team has its new head coach. The Lady Cardinals have hired Ross Barelli to lead the team.

Barelli spent time as a boys assistant at St. Michael, Lincoln University, Jefferson City High, and Rock Bridge. Barelli was an assistant coach on the 2024 15U Nike EYBL National Championship Girls team with Missouri Phenom.

Barelli will take over for former coach Chris Michaels as he’s left for a new coaching job in Jefferson City.
