The Raptors are coming off a 130-120 loss to the Orlando Magic on the road on Friday. The Magic rallied for a big fourth quarter, outscoring Toronto 44-21. Desmond Bane was a huge reason for the surge, with the Magic guard scoring 16 of his team-high 32 points in the fourth to help Orlando rally from a 14-point deficit in the third. The Raptors lost despite a huge game from Brandon Ingram, who put up 35 points. Scottie Barnes had a great night as well, adding 19 points, nine rebounds, six assists and four blocks. Toronto nearly pulled off its fifth straight road win, which has been strong this season, with a 16-10 road record.
Utah’s last game was particularly deflating, as the Jazz lost 109-99 at home to the Brooklyn Nets, who have a worse record. Egor Demin set a rookie record by making a three-pointer in his 34th game in a row, and he finished with a team-high 25 points and 10 rebounds. Utah’s George still had a great game with a game-high 26 points and seven assists. The Jazz are going to need him back tonight to have any chance of pulling off this road upset, as Utah is 5-17 on the road.
