NEW YORK
 – Brooklyn College has earned the top seed in the 2026 CUNY Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Championship following the conclusion of regular season play Tuesday night. The Bulldogs (14-0), along with second-seeded Hunter (11-3) have earned first round byes and will host semifinal contests on Tuesday, February 24.
Brooklyn, which is seeking its sixth straight CUNYAC women’s basketball championship, completed the first unbeaten season in conference play since the Bulldogs did it in 2022-23. Brooklyn stands at 22-3 overall and winners of 15 straight entering the championship.
Lehman (10-4) earned the No. 3 seed, its highest since 2017-18, and will host sixth-seeded CCNY (4-10) in one first round game Saturday. The Beavers are making their first championship appearance since 2022. John Jay (9-5), the No. 4 seed, hosts No. 5 Baruch (7-7) in Saturday’s other first round contest.
The championship game of the 2026 CUNYAC Women’s Basketball Championship is set to take place on Friday, February 27 at 6:30 pm at the Baruch ARC Arena. The 2026 CUNYAC women’s basketball champion earns an automatic berth into the 2026 NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship.

No. 6 CCNY (4-10) at No. 3 Lehman (10-4) – 2 pm
Tuesday, February 24 – Semifinals (at higher seeds)
Lehman/CCNY winner at No. 2 Hunter (11-3) – 6 pm
Baruch/John Jay winner at No. 1 Brooklyn (14-0) – TBA
Friday, February 27 – Final
Semifinal winners – 6:30 pm (at Baruch ARC Arena)
