Over the past year, the Air Jordan 8 has received some special attention from whoever decides on retro releases at Jordan Brand. Back in July, the ‘Aqua’ (the best OG AJ8!) touched down once again to plenty of acclaim, and already there’s rumours of the 2003 ‘Chrome’ making a comeback in September. Now, set to follow that two-tone iteration is a brand new colourway simply dubbed ‘Knicks’.
Rumours of this freshie have come from insiders @zsneakerheadz and @sneakerfiles, who’ve all but officially confirmed the pair will arrive for the holiday season. According to the sources, the Air Jordan 8 ‘Knicks’ will pay homage to the ferocious battle between the Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks during the 1993 NBA Eastern Conference Finals. Interestingly, the ‘Knicks’ is allegedly replacing the ‘Cavs’ colourway that was leaked last year.
