College of Charleston men’s basketball graduate student Connor Hickman was reinstated and is eligible to compete immediately.

A Motion to Stay last week’s Order dissolving the TRO issued on Nov. 17, 2025, was granted by a Charleston County Circuit Court Judge. As a result, Hickman will be available tonight against North Carolina A&T at 7 p.m. in Greensboro, N.C.

No further hearing dates in the matter have been scheduled.

Hickman was ruled ineligible for the remainder of the season on Feb. 12 after a local judge dissolved a temporary restraining order that had allowed the Bloomington, Ind., native to play this season.

That resulted in College of Charleston coach Chris Mack calling the NCAA’s decision to fight Hickman’s medical hardship waiver — seeking a fifth year of eligibility — “complete horse(poop).”
