In the video posted on Instagram, San Antonio Spurs guard Chris Paul and son CP3JR (man, there’s a license plate) play out a challenge at the free throw line.
One takeaway- his son is loaded with confidence. confidence. Having CP3 as his dad gives focus to his work hard, and he’s learned to be strong when facing a challenge.
Chris Paul says his son’s belief he can do it is “all cap.” I had to look that one up. It means “he’s lying” or “it’s fake.” Gen-Xers, you’re welcome.
CP3’s son made his first four, leaving the Point God to make five in row. Instead, the elder Paul shot a hundred and made his son watch as he knocked them down.
Little bit of fun and whole lot of humility.
If Chris Paul, Jr. is already comfortable taking on his dad, it’s reasonable to believe he doesn’t back down when he’s facing kids in his own age group.
By the way, he’s sixteen. There’s a chance we’ll be hearing his name more in the years to come.
Could the Paul’s share the court together? I’m guessing more of a Brunson way than the James fashion.
