We’ve made it to the weekend once again folks. That means I’ve got survey results for you. I didn’t want to put these on the site yesterday for fear that they get lost in the shuffle with the IU game coming up that evening. So instead I am dropping them this afternoon for your reading pleasure.
First, I wanted to know what you thought Purdue’s record down this final stretch of game before win and go home season begins would be. Basically I viewed this question as a chance to check the temperature of the fanbase. Optimistic? Pessimistic? Somewhere in between? Maybe that’s called realistic? Either way let’s take a look.
The plurality believe that Purdue would win 5 of their final 6 games which I have to say seems pretty optimistic to me. To the 3% who said two or fewer…who hurt you?
After that I wanted to check in again with the Braden Smith record chase. I asked this question on January 9th and a whopping 78% of fans believed that Smith would break the record.
It’s now down to 30% of fans. That’s a big drop for the Boilermaker senior, but it will take a great effort to get there after having a few games where he didn’t pile up assists. I think he can still turn it on and get there.
