The 2025-26 Sacramento Kings are on a historically bad run. They’ve lost 15-straight games, but that’s not all. The worst Kings team since the franchise moved to Sacramento was the 2008-09, Reggie Theus, Kenny Natt Kings. That squad had a .207 winning percentage, and went 17-65.

The current Kings could end up even worse. At 12-45, with a .211 winning percentage, one has to wonder… do these Kings have 5 more wins in them? I know the schedule lightens up as the season comes to a close, but I don’t know. Imagining 5 more wins from this squad during a 15-game losing streak is difficult. I’m not expecting one tonight.

Who: Sacramento Kings (12-45) vs. San Antonio Spurs (39-16)
Where: Moody Center, Austin, TX
When: 5:00 PM PT / 8:00 PM ET
Watch: NBCSCA / League Pass

If there was any question, and there really wasn’t, about which franchise would come out on top following the De’Aaron Fox trade, I think we have our answer. The Spurs have won 7-straight games, they are the 2nd best team in the Western Conference, Fox made his 2nd All-Star Game appearance, and is finally getting the recognition he deserves. The Kings, on the other hand, have completely fallen apart.

But Fox has a chance to help the Kings one more time tonight with a proper beating. Go Fox.

Prediction: Kings 115, Spurs 102.
