But to put it simply, the star guard is just thankful and blessed that he didn’t sustain any damage from the incident.
“It’s unfortunate,” Ball told reporters after the 105-101 Thursday loss against the Houston Rockets. “Everybody is cool, so it’s just blessings.
“God is great.”
Ball was driving through an intersection on Wednesday afternoon when his camouflage-colored Hummer crashed into another vehicle.
A viral video showed Ball, wearing a Hornets hoodie, getting out of his truck and into a black Lamborghini, which then drove away. It was revealed that teammate Brandon Miller and a member of the Hornets’ team security staff picked him up.
Per Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer, Ball was allowed to leave the scene amid the police’s presence.
Authorities didn’t release any police report from the event. As such, it was revealed that one person received medical treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
“I seen her get straight out of the car … “I’m alive and blessed, bro,” Ball added before eventually walking out of the press room.
“God is great.”
