Check out the top Victor Wembanyama prop bet on DraftKings Sportsbook for Spurs vs. Pistons on Monday’s NBA slate in a potential Finals preview.

Monday’s NBA slate is a miniscule one with just three games on deck throughout the evening, but things kick off with a truly spectacular matchup at 7 p.m. EST between the San Antonio Spurs and Detroit Pistons. We get a clash between the Western Conference’s No. 2 seed and the Eastern Conference’s No. 1 as Victor Wembanyama and Cade Cunningham — a couple of MVP-caliber talents — battle in a potential NBA Finals preview.

Here are the top Victor Wembanyama prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Spurs vs. Pistons on Monday night.

The Spurs are an incredible 40-16 in year three of the Victor Wembanyama era, which is also the first full campaign with he and De’Aaron Fox paired up as a star duo. Factor in Stephon Castle’s progression and the surrounding role players, and it’s not difficult to see what’s made this San Antonio unit so effective. With that said, though, Wembanyama remains at the forefront of his team’s jump to contender status. Just look at the numbers.

The 22-year-old big man missed a handful of games earlier in the year and has largely seen his minutes capped, playing just 29.0 per night. Despite such a restriction, he’s averaging 24.3 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.7 blocks per game. That scoring mark matches his career-best while the rebounding number sets a new one, and a 51.1% FG% also qualifies as a fairly significant leap from his previous career-high of 47.6% shooting. There’s no doubt that he’s a top-10 star in the NBA at absolute minimum, almost certainly a top-five talent, and could even provide a case as the league’s best player.

Wembanyama’s prop bet lines on DraftKings Sportsbook sit at 23.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 1.5 made three-pointers and 2.5 blocks. His combined PTS + REB + AST line comes in at 37.5.

This matchup against the Pistons certainly won’t be easy given the defense-heavy identity of this Detroit roster. Jalen Duren in particular is a big body in the paint, but it’s noteworthy that Isaiah Stewart remains out due to a league suspension. His absence will play a key role in tonight’s game as far as paint deterrence goes, especially for frontcourt players like Wembanyama.

Still, the best prop bet I like in this one is for Wembanyama to record over 10.5 rebounds. The big man will draw the matchup with Duren, who’s a physical presence on the boards, but there’s less size in the remainder of the frontcourt with Tobias Harris and Ausar Thompson working at the forward spots. Of course, the Spurs’ superstar towers over just about everyone and has a wingspan that’s unrivaled by anyone else in the NBA, so even the athleticism of Duren and Thompson may not serve as much of a deterrent on the glass.

Wembanyama went over this prop bet line in four of his last five games, seven of his last 10, and 24 of his 42 appearances overall on the campaign. He ranks fifth in the entire league in rebounds per game with 11.2 as well, so this line may be a little bit lower than in a typical matchup due to Detroit sitting sixth in team boards. It may be close, but the Frenchman should see a full workload with plenty of minutes in a competitive contest that shapes up as something of a measuring-stick game for both sides.

Best bet: Victor Wembanyama over 10.5 rebounds (-135)
