On Thursday, the LA Clippers (27-30) host the Minnesota Timberwolves (36-23) at the Intuit Dome, and if you’re wondering how to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Clippers lost to the Orlando Magic 111-109 in their last game on Sunday to begin a three-game homestand. They had a chance to win the game after trading the lead 19 times with the Magic, but a 3-pointer by Bennedict Mathurin with 0.6 seconds left missed long.
Kawhi Leonard produced 37 points, eight rebounds and eight assists to lead the Clippers, while Mathurin scored 21 points and Jordan Miller added 14 points. Mathurin has scored 110 points in five games with the Clippers, the most by a reserve in their first five games with the franchise.
The Timberwolves defeated the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, improving to 4-1 over their last five games. The group shot 53.4% from the field, the 21st time they have shot at least 50% this season, tied for the second-most such games in the NBA.
Anthony Edwards produced 34 points to lead the way, Jaden McDaniels tallied 29 points and six rebounds and Donte DiVincenzo added 19 points. McDaniels is the first player in history to record at least 25 points on 75% shooting with five or more 3s and five blocks and three steals.
