The Sacramento Kings and Dallas Mavericks could assemble a playoff team from the players listed on the injury report for Thursday’s game at American Airlines Center.

Russell Westbrook, Zach LaVine, Keegan Murray, De’Andre Hunter, Domantas Sabonis and Dylan Cardwell have been ruled out for Sacramento. Malik Monk is questionable.

The Mavericks have ruled out rookie sensation Cooper Flagg along with Kyrie Irving, Dereck Lively II and P.J. Washington. Khris Middleton is probable. Daniel Gafford is doubtful.

The Kings (13-47) have the worst record in the NBA. They suffered a 128-97 loss to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday after beating the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday to snap a franchise-record 16-game losing streak.

The Mavericks (21-36) are coming off back-to-back wins over the Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets. They are 12th in the Western Conference, six games behind the Los Angeles Clippers for the final play-in spot.

Murray has been ruled out due to a left ankle sprain after reinjuring the ankle in Wednesday’s game against the Rockets. Murray returned to the lineup last week after missing 20 games with the previous ankle injury.

LaVine (finger), Sabonis (knee) and Hunter (eye) recently underwent season-ending surgical procedures. Westbrook is out with a right thigh contusion. Monk’s status is uncertain due to right ankle soreness.

The Mavericks are missing Flagg (left midfoot sprain), Irving (left knee surgery), Lively (right foot surgery) and Washington (left ankle sprain). Flagg, who came out of Duke as the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA draft, is a leading Rookie of the Year candidate. He is averaging 20.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists..
