The Boston Celtics have listed Baylor Scheierman as questionable for their game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, March 1. He is suffering from a fracture to his left thumb. Jayson Tatum remains out as he continues to recover from his Achilles injury.

Scheierman has been thriving for Boston since moving into the starting lineup following Boston’s moves at the Feb. 5 trade deadline. In his last seven games, he’s averaging 8.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per night, shooting 73.3% from two-point range and 32.4% from deep. Furthermore, his defensive versatility has been a huge bonus for the Celtics, with Joe Mazzulla trusting him to guard some of the best players in the league for stretches.

Boston’s game against the Sixers was recently moved into a prime-time slot by the NBA.

The game will now tip off at 8 PM Eastern, and will take place at the TD Garden, marking Boston’s second straight home game following their recent four-game West Coast road trip.

Scheierman could still be cleared to play. Boston’s medical staff will undoubtedly reevaluate him on Sunday as we get closer to the game.
