(KBTX) – Former Texas A&M shooting guard Quenton Jackson signed the first standard NBA contract of his career.
Jackson was on a two-way contract with the Pacers, where he spent the past two seasons. That two-way contract was converted to a standard contract, reportedly worth the league minimum on a three-year deal.
The Los Angeles native has appeared in 30 games this season, averaging 9.2 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. In February, he averaged 16.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game for the Pacers.
Jackson began his NBA career as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Wizards in 2022 after spending three seasons at Texas A&M. With the Aggies, he led the team in scoring his senior year with 14.8 points per game. He played in 87 games with 33 starts for the Maroon and White.
