SACRAMENTO – Phoenix Suns All-Star guard Devin Booker is set to return on Tuesday, March 3, against the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center.
Not listed on the team’s injury report, Booker has missed Phoenix’s last four games with a right hip strain he suffered in the first half against the San Antonio Spurs in Austin.

The five-time All-Star leads the Suns in scoring at 24.7 points a game and assists at 6.1.
“No setbacks,” Suns coach Jordan Ott said after Monday’s practice on March 2. “Continual progress. Seems to be in a good spot.”
Phoenix (34-26) is 3-0 against Sacramento heading into their final matchup of the season.

The Kings (14-48) have the NBA’s worst record.
Booker remains eligible for NBA end-of-season awards.
NBA players must appear in 65 of the 82 games in the regular season. Booker has played 44 games so far this 2025-26 season.
Phoenix has 22 games left, which means Booker must play in 21 of them to be eligible for postseason awards.

The team announced Feb. 24 that Brooks will be re-evaluated in four-to-six weeks and Goodwin is scheduled for a re-evaluation in one-to-two weeks.
Ott said after practice on March 1 that Goodwin had started to ramp up.
“He is on the court,” Ott said about Goodwin. “He was on the court today. Book is further along than Goodie, but he is starting to progress onto the court.”

Haywood Highsmith (right knee injury management) isn’t listed on the Phoenix’s injury report.
The Suns announced Feb. 21 that Highsmith would be re-evaluated in two-to-three weeks. He has yet to play this season after having surgery on his right knee last summer in August.

The Brooklyn Nets waived Highsmith before the trade deadline.
Phoenix signed the 6-foot-5 forward as a free agent.
