The Phoenix Suns will be without their starting center to begin a three-game homestand March 5 against the Chicago Bulls.
Mark Williams has been ruled out with left foot soreness after posting 10 points and nine rebounds in Tuesday’s 114-103 road win over the Sacramento Kings.

Williams capped the win with a one-handed lob dunk off a Devin Booker pass with 30.8 seconds left in the game.
The 7-footer has played in a career-high 56 games this season after seeing action in 106 games total in his three NBA seasons with the Charlotte Hornets.
Williams is averaging 11.6 points and 8.1 rebounds in his first season with the Suns (35-26), who dealt two first-round picks to Charlotte to land him in a trade during the 2025 draft.

The Suns also have rookie 7-footer Khaman Maluach, the 10th overall pick in the 2025 draft, available and just recently signed undrafted rookie big CJ Huntley to a two-way deal.
Huntley has been with Phoenix’s G League team, the Valley Suns, after being on the Suns training camp roster.
Williams won’t be available to face his former teammate, Bulls big Nick Richards, who will be playing against the Suns for the first time since being moved in a three-team deal before the Feb. 5 trade deadline.
Richards and Williams were also teammates in Charlotte.
The Suns are also down Dillon Brooks (left hand fracture) and Jordan Goodwin (left calf strain).

The Bulls (25-37) are without Zach Collins (right first toe surgery), Noa Essengue (left shoulder surgery), Jaden Ivey (left patellofemoral pain syndrome) and Anfernee Simons (left ulnar styloid; fracture).
Matas Buzelis (right ankle sprain) and Josh Giddey (right ankle sprain) are listed as questionable while Jalen Smith (right calf strain) and Patrick Williams (right quad strain) are doubtful.
