Having struggled with 11 losses in a row, the Bulls finally turned things around against the Bucks on Sunday. They blew past Milwaukee 120-97. The win came about thanks to a strong surge starting at the 6:35 mark of the second quarter, when Chicago was facing a 53-37 deficit.

Josh Giddey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double with 20 points, 10 assists, and 14 rebounds. Giddey hasn’t posted that many rebounds since November 17th. Leonard Miller brought some help for the Bulls off the bench as he went 6-for-8 en route to 15 points and 5 rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Thunder beat the Mavericks 100-87 on Sunday.

The Thunder relied on the efforts of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who shot 60% from the field on his way to 30 points in addition to 5 assists and 4 steals, and Chet Holmgren, who nearly posted a double-double with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Holmgren also snagged 2 steals, his most since January 15th.

Even though they won, the Thunder couldn’t hit a thing from deep and finished the game having only made 8 of their 39 three-pointers. The last time their three-point shooting percentage was this low was January 7th.

Oklahoma City has now won 12 of their last 13 games on the road. That’s provided a nice bump to their 47-15 record this season. The victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 123.6 points over those games. As for Chicago, their win bumped their record up to 25-36.
