On Friday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers will play the Indiana Pacers (at home) in California.
The Lakers are on the second night of a back-to-back after losing to the Denver Nuggets (in Colorado) by a score of 120-113.

The Lakers will be without LeBron James, Maxi Kleber and Deandre Ayton.
James is averaging 21.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 1.1 steals per contest while shooting 50.4% from the field and 31.3% from three-point range in 44 games.

Ayton is averaging 12.6 points and 8.2 rebounds per contest while shooting 66.7% from the field in 54 games.

Kleber is averaging 2.2 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 46.7% from the field and 27.3% from three-point range in 34 games.

Lakers Ahead Of Pacers Matchup
The Lakers have had a very solid season despite all the noise that always circulates around the franchise.
They are the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a 37-25 record in 62 games.
At home, the Lakers have gone 18-12 in the 30 games they have played at Crypto.com Arena.
After the Pacers, they will remain in Los Angeles to host Mikal Bridges and the New York Knicks on Sunday.

After a trip to the 2025 NBA Finals, the Pacers come into Friday’s game as the 15th seed (last place) in the Eastern Conference with a 15-47 record in 62 games.
They are in the middle of a seven-game losing streak (and 5-25 in 30 games on the road).
On Sunday, the Pacers will head to Oregon for a showdown with the Portland Trail Blazers.
