In Thursday’s victory over the Kings, Zion Williamson led the way for the Pelicans as he recorded 23 points, nine rebounds and five assists while Trey Murphy III added 21 points, seven rebounds and four assists of his own.
Now New Orleans will try to grab another victory on Friday as they face off against the Suns in a tough road matchup.
On the other side, Phoenix enters Friday’s contest with a 35-27 record after losing at home to the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night.

Devin Booker led the way for the Suns in Thursday’s loss as he ended the game with 27 points and six rebounds while Grayson Allen recorded 21 points and eight assists off the bench.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Friday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

This is great news for New Orleans as Williamson and Murphy III are both completely off the injury report after they were able to play through injuries in Thursday’s victory.
The Pelicans will also get back Dejounte Murray on Friday after he missed Thursday’s game due to return to competition reconditioning as he continues to work his way back from a torn Achilles.
Suns Injury Report, Will Mark Williams, Royce O’Neale Play?
On the other side, the Suns have four players listed on their injury report, including both Mark Williams and Royce O’Neale.

Phoenix has ruled out Williams due to a left foot third metatarsal stress reaction as he will miss his second consecutive contest and he is expected to miss at least two weeks due to the injury.
With Williams sidelined, Oso Ighodaro and Khaman Maluach could both be in line for increased roles until he is cleared to return.
The Suns have also ruled out Dillon Brooks as he continues to recover from a left hand fracture while Jordan Goodwin remains sidelined with a left calf strain.

O’Neale has been listed as questionable due to right foot soreness and the Suns may elect to sit him on the second night of their back-to-back.
