On Friday, the Charlotte Hornets (32-31) host the Miami Heat (34-29) at the Spectrum Center, and if you’re wondering how to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Hornets posted their sixth straight win on Wednesday, defeating the Boston Celtics 118-89 on the road. The victory extended their franchise-record road win streak to 10 games and moved the Hornets to above .500 through 63 games for the first time since the 2015-16 season.
Rookie Kon Knueppel led the Hornets with 20 points, while Brandon Miller and LaMelo Ball each added 18 points and Coby White added 17 points. Knueppel is up to 216 3-pointers this season after knocking down four, and is the only player in the league with at least 200.
The Heat are coming off a 126-110 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday for their third straight win. The two teams were tied at 72 points apiece midway through the third quarter, but the Heat finished the period on a 23-11 run to take the lead for good.
Tyler Herro produced 25 points, Bam Adebayo tallied 21 points and Kel’el Ware added 16 points, 11 rebounds, seven blocks and five steals to lead the Heat. Ware became the first player in history to record at least 10 points, 10 rebounds, five blocks and five steals off the bench.
