On Monday, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had the entire NBA world’s attention. He made history and added to his MVP campaign in one of the best games of the regular season.

The Oklahoma City Thunder outlasted the Denver Nuggets in a 129-126 win that turned into a thriller. The reigning NBA champions survived several absences against a mostly-healthy rival.

You can thank Gilgeous-Alexander for that. He finished with 35 points on 14-of-21 shooting, 15 assists and nine rebounds. Despite it being an eye-popping statline, there were a few notable moments in there.

Gilgeous-Alexander tied Wilt Chamberlain for the longest 20-point streak in NBA history at 126 consecutive games. He also hit the game-winner with a pull-up 3-pointer in the final seconds. Unreal stuff by the reigning MVP as he hopes to win the prestigious award again.
