They’ll look to push that number to five against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night.
LeBron James will play vs. Nuggets on Saturday night
When it comes to LeBron James’ status for the game, we should expect to see the star forward out on the floor. James isn’t listed on the official injury report for the game, indicating that he’ll be good to go against Denver.
James missed three straight games for the Lakers due to left foot arthritis and a right hip contusion, but he returned for L.A.’s 142-130 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night. He tallied 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in 33 minutes of action in that game.

On the season, James has played in 45 games for L.A. and posted averages of 21.4 points, 7.0 assists 5.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals per performance.
The game between L.A. and Denver will be the third and final of the regular season. The teams split the first two meetings, so whoever wins on Saturday night will take the season series, which could be very important given how close the teams are in the standings in the Western Conference.
Entering Saturday night, the Lakers are just a half-game ahead of the Nuggets in the conference standings. The teams currently sit fourth and fifth, respectively.
