With Selection Sunday almost here and March Madness right around the corner, it’s crunch time in conference tournaments around the country.
Duke is the No. 1 ranked team in the nation, but is in Charlotte for the ACC tournament with a few question marks after late-season injuries to Caleb Foster and Patrick Ngongba II.

The Blue Devils eked out a win over Florida State on Thursday and didn’t look much like a title contender, but they handled Clemson in the semifinals on Friday. As long as national player of the year frontrunner Cameron Boozer is suiting up for Duke, they’re likely to be favored. He’s been a monster this season, averaging 22.7 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.

Cameron Boozer packed the stat sheet as he always does. He finished with 24 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists.
Perhaps more importantly, Duke got a career-high out of Cayden Boozer with 16 points. The latter is going to be vital in the NCAA tournament after starting guard Caleb Foster suffered a potentially season-ending foot injury last week.

The Blue Devils were able to enforce their will late in the first half and head into the break with a sizable double-digit lead.
Clemson didn’t let Cameron Boozer go off, but he’s getting to the free-throw line plenty (8-for-10 from the line already) and has 13 points, 7 boards and 3 assists.
Clemson’s going to need to hit some shots in the second half to keep this thing competitive. The Tigers are just 6-for-28 shooting and have only made two 3-pointers.

The Cavs left little doubt in this one. Virginia had four different players score 15 or more points. Ugonna Onyenso led the way with 17, Sam Lewis and Thijs De Ridder had 16 and Malik Thomas had 15.

Virginia is projected by many bracketologists as a No. 4 seed in the NCAA tournament while Miami should be in the 6-7 range. The Hurricanes’ KenPom and Wins Above Bubble metrics should help them on Selection Sunday, but the numbers aren’t favorable for the Cavs.

The Cavs found a rhythm late in the first half and left the Canes in the dust. It was knotted at 17 with just under 6 minutes left and then Virginia finally started making some shots.
They ended the half on a 13-2 run capped off by a 3-ball from Chance Mallory, who made a steal and pulled up from 3 on the other end as time expired.
