In Sunday’s victory over the Cavaliers, Cooper Flagg led the way for the Mavericks as he recorded 27 points, six rebounds and 10 assists while Naji Marhsall added 25 points, five rebounds and seven assists of his own.
Now Dallas will try to grab another victory on the road on Monday night as they face off against a struggling Pelicans team.
On the other side, New Orleans enters Monday’s contest with a 22-46 record after losing on the road to the Houston Rockets on Friday night.

Dejounte Murray led the way for the Pelicans in Friday’s loss as he ended the game with 35 points, seven rebounds and four assists while Zion Williamson recorded 21 points and five rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Monday night’s matchup, both squads may be without multiple key players due to injuries.

For the Mavericks, they have five players listed on their injury report, including both Klay Thompson and Daniel Gafford.

Caleb Martin has been listed as questionable due to right plantar fascia soreness while Kyrie Irving and Dereck Lively II are both out for the remainder of the season.

On the other side, the Pelicans have two players listed on their injury report for Monday, including Murray.

New Orleans has listed Murray as questionable due to an illness and he is in danger of missing his first game since March 5.
If Murray is sidelined, Jeremiah Fears and Yves Missi could both be in line for increased roles against the Mavericks.

The Pelicans have ruled out Bryce McGowens due to a right small toe fracture as he will miss his third straight game.
