OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) — The Oklahoma City Thunder and Oklahoma Gas & Electric held a ribbon cutting ceremony for a renovated community basketball court in Oklahoma City.
Renovations to Ingrid Williams Memorial Court at Faithworks of the Inner City included new paint, graphics, basketball backboards, and rims. Children were on hand to try out the new court and visit the Rolling Thunder Book Bus.
Part of a multi-year effort
The renovation is part of a multi-year plan between the Thunder and OG&E to refresh community courts across the state. Ingrid Williams Memorial Court is the 16th community court to be renovated under the partnership.
