As the Philadelphia 76ers look to move forward following a 124-96 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night, they will look to get healthier. The Sixers are just 1.5 games back of the Orlando Magic for the No. 6 seed in the East–the final guaranteed playoff spot–and will look to get everything together in the final 13 games of the year.

The Sixers will continue the road trip on Thursday against the Sacramento Kings and then Saturday against the Utah Jazz. One has to hope they can get star big man Joel Embiid on the floor sooner rather than later.

Embiid has not played since Feb. 26 when he suffered a right oblique strain in a win over the Miami Heat. Before the loss to the Nuggets, coach Nick Nurse gave an update on Embiid as Philadelphia looks to move forward.

Embiid is averaging 26.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3.9 assists on the season while shooting 49.5% from the floor and 31.8% from deep in 33 games. The Sixers are 21-12 when he plays and 16-20 when he doesn’t. It would be a huge lift if Embiid can return against the Kings on Thursday.
