The Cleveland Cavaliers (42-27) and Chicago Bulls (28-41) meet Thursday at United Center in Chicago, Illinois. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze NBA odds around the Cavaliers vs. Bulls odds and make our expert NBA picks and predictions for the best bets.
Season series: Bulls lead 2-1; Chicago won 127-111 on Dec. 17, the only previous meeting this season at United Center. The Bulls covered as a 5.5-point underdog (+180 ML) as the Under (242.5) cashed. Chicago is 3-0 against the spread (ATS) against Cleveland this season while the Over is 2-1.
Cleveland picked up a 123-116 victory in Milwaukee on Tuesday buy failed to cover as a 12.5-point favorite as the Over (226.5) cashed. G James Harden and C Evan Mobley went for 27 points apiece, with Mobley adding 15 rebounds and 3 blocks. The Cavs have alternated wins and losses in the past 7 outings and are 2-4-1 ATS that span. The Over has cashed in 4 in a row.
Chicago was crushed 139-109 as a 7.5-point home underdog with the Over (237.5) cashing Wednesday against Toronto. F Matas Buzelis went for 19 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals and a block while hitting a trio of 3-pointers. The Bulls have dropped 3 of their past 4 games but are still a respectable 6-3 ATS across their past 9 outings. The Under is 9-3 in Chicago’s last 12 games.

Cavaliers at Bulls picks and predictionsPrediction
Cavaliers 124, Bulls 113
The Cavaliers (-800) will cost you 8 times your potential return, and that’s way too much risk for a straight-up play, or as part of a multi-leg parlay. There is just no value backing such a strong favorite, especially on the road.
AVOID.
It’s difficult to trust a BULLS +12.5 (-102) which was crushed by 30 points at home on Wednesday. However, prior to that, Chicago won 132-107 against Memphis on Monday. So, who is going to show up in red and black?
The Cavaliers have lost 2 of 3 games outright to the Bulls, who seem to be the kryptonite for Cleveland. The Cavs are just 1-4-1 ATS in the past 6 games, and 4-8-1 ATS across the previous 13 outings. So, take Chicago, but go lightly.
UNDER 240.5 (-105) is the lean, but go with a half-unit play at most.
The Over is 4-0 in the past 4 games for Cleveland, but this is a very high number. We saw a similar total of 242.5 in mid-December in Chicago, and the total went Under. The Under is 9-3 in the past 12 games for the Bulls, too, so trust it, just go lightly.
