On Thursday, the Charlotte Hornets (35-34) host the Orlando Magic (38-30) at the Spectrum Center, and if you’re wondering how to catch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Hornets defeated the Miami Heat 136-106 on Tuesday to tip off a season-long seven-game homestand. They led 96-88 entering the fourth quarter, and outscored the Heat 40-18 in the period to seal their ninth win in 12 games.
LaMelo Ball produced 30 points, 13 assists and six rebounds to lead the way, while Coby White tallied 24 points off the bench and Kon Knueppel added 22 points. Knueppel has the most 20-point games by any rookie since Victor Wembanyama in 2023-24 (41).
The Magic are coming off a 113-108 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, their second straight defeat after winning seven consecutive games. The group overcame an 18-point deficit to lead multiple times in the second half before falling down the stretch.
Paolo Banchero led the Magic with 32 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, Desmond Bane scored 16 points and Jalen Suggs had 14 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Banchero registered his 24th double-double of the season, tied for the 14th-most in the NBA.
